It was with very great sadness that we at St Stephen Walbrook received the news of Her Majesty’s death on Thursday evening. We aim to open the church for as long as possible over the next week to enable visitors to pray, light candles and make entries in a book of condolence. Our Choral Eucharist on Thursday 15th September at 12.45pm will be a service of commemoration and gratitude for the life of Her Majesty.

Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth, for her faith and dedication to duty. Bless our nation as we mourn her death and may her example continue to inspire us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
